The Draft Engine

A week of post ideas, planned and drafted for you.

Tell it what your feed is for, how many posts a week and which days to skip. The Draft Engine picks the angle for each slot, writes the caption, makes the picture and leaves the draft for your yes.

One restaurant’s angles

Tony’s BBQ runs four angles. The Draft Engine rotates them, weighted by how often each should come up, so the feed isn’t all brisket specials.

  • Draft of sliced brisket with the line “Brisket’s back. Until it isn’t.”
The daily dropSignature: comes up twice as often
  • Close-up of sliced brisket with a dark bark

  • A server handing a tray across the counter to a regular
    Regulars at the counterRegular
  • A cook holding a burger basket at the counter
    The crewOccasional: half as often

How the week gets planned

  1. Set the rhythm

Drafts per week, from 0 to 21. Quiet days it should skip. How far ahead to plan, from one week to two months.

  2. Give it angles

Up to eight active content angles, each marked Signature, Regular or Occasional, and each with its format: image, video or caption only.

  3. It drafts the open slots

For each open slot it picks an angle, writes the caption in your voice and makes the media, then leaves the draft in your inbox.

  4. You decide

Approve to schedule, reject, or say what’s off. What you say becomes a rule for the drafts that follow.

What to know

Automatic drafting is on Autopilot plans

On Free you can still ask the Draft Engine for drafts whenever you like, up to 60 days out. Each run is 25 tokens, and media is extra.

Holidays and trends wait for you

Every day it looks at the next 45 days of holidays and the last few days of news that fit your brand. Nothing becomes a draft until you approve the idea.

No topic takes over

Signature angles come up twice as often as Regular ones and Occasional ones half as often, so a single topic never fills the feed.

Your own posts fit in

Post something yourself whenever you like. The Draft Engine fills the open slots around it.

Questions, answered straight

What is a content angle?

A topic your feed comes back to, such as “behind the pit” or “gift guide”. You name it and say what it’s for; the Draft Engine works out the posts.

Does it publish the drafts by itself?

No. The Draft Engine runs on its own; publishing never does. Every draft waits for your approval.

How many drafts should I ask for?

Start with three to five a week. You can change the number at any time, and it plans only as far ahead as you tell it to.
